About the PSF's Meetup Pro Network
The PSF manages a Meetup Pro account and adds qualified Python-focused Meetup groups to the overarching PSF Meetup Pro Network. Meetup organizers no longer pay for Meetup subscriptions once they become part of the PSF's network. We currently have 109 groups in the PSF Meetup Pro Network, which costs the PSF $15/month per group.
The PSF can run reports on Meetup activity, such as the number of interested attendees and events. Management of membership and events is left to the group's organizers. Any registration fees or deposits for RSVPing or paying for registration to an event are also managed solely by the Meetup organizer.
Once a Meetup organizer accepts the invite to join, a notation will be shown under the group name: "Part of Python Software Foundation Meetup Pro Network."
Criteria
We've made the application process and criteria as simple as possible, so Python Meetup groups around the world can easily get the support they need. Along those lines, we've kept the requirements short and sweet—to qualify for the PSF's Meetup Pro Network, a Meetup group must:
- Offer content that is majority Python related
- Include or link to a Code of Conduct in the About section of the Meetup page
- Hold at least 2 events per year (virtual or in-person)

Application
The application to join the PSF's Meetup Pro Network is a short form that requires information about your Meetup group to facilitate review by PSF Staff. It covers:
- Basic information about the applicant
- Meetup information to ensure the group meets the PSF's criteria
Questions on the application form not related to the formal criteria are to optimally support the Meetup group and gather metrics on impact.
How to Submit
To apply, fill out the short form on psfmember.org. Make sure you have an account on psfmember.org and that you're signed in!

Review
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by PSF Staff based on our established criteria listed above. We aim to review and respond to Meetup Pro applications within 7-10 business days. A PSF Staff member may reach out to you with questions about your application.
Decision
A PSF Staff member will relay decisions via email to the address associated with the psfmember.org account used to apply. Upon acceptance, information will be provided on the steps to join the PSF's Meetup Pro Network.
Feedback, Questions, & Office Hours
We welcome feedback, questions, or comments about the program, which can be sent to grants@python.org.
The PSF also hosts a monthly Grants Program Office Hour, which serves to support aspiring and current groups in the PSF's Meetup Pro Network.
The PSF Grants Program Office Hours is a text-only chat based office hour hosted on the Python Software Foundation Discord at 9 AM EST/EDT (1-2 or 2-3 PM UTC) on the third Tuesday of the month. (Check what time that is for you.) The server is moderated by PSF Staff and is locked in between office hour sessions. If you're new to Discord, check out some Discord Basics to help you get started.
Resources
The PSF has created a library of free event organizing resources for our community. We hope these resources are helpful and we welcome you to contribute new content to the library via our submission form.
